Simon began his creative journey in visual storytelling through photography.
His fascination with composition and the emotional power of imagery eventually led him to the film industry.

After completing his apprenticeship as a audio-visual media designer in Cologne, he worked as a cameraman and editor, most recently for the tuning company BRABUS in Bottrop. There, he played a key role in producing high-end car commercials as both a cameraman and editor.

While working as an editor, he also took on the color grading for all of his projects, an area where he discovered a new passion. In March 2025, he participated in a color grading course at the “Schnittakademie” in Berlin, where he gained valuable insights into industry standards.

Since April 2025, he has been working as a freelance colorist.
